Rango - Story of Cowboy Chameleon

Rango is an animated film that mixes animation genre has a strong western adventure. By using big stars like Johnny Depp and Alfred Molina, director Gore Verbinski tells the epic Hollywood cliche, but still entertaining.

Rango for Gore Verbinski is the first time in his career as a director making a movie genre animation comedy adventure spiced with typical Nickelodeon. Rango story made based on a combination of Western life-style ever experienced Gore Verbinski are coupled with the character of the animals in the desert like a chameleon and rattlesnakes.

For animation work, Verbinski handed everything over to Industrial Light & Magic, who are experts in matters of CGI. Rango prove that there is still room for other than Pixar or DreamWorks studio capable of making CGI animated proven to watch children and adults.

Many scenes in this film that takes the background like a cowboy era American landscape complete with sky lembayungnya and Monument Valley, where the usual cowboy spurred his horses in the film. Voiced Rango entrusted to Johnny Depp who turns out to have to deal with his old opponent at the "Pirates of the Caribbean", that is Bill Nighy's Davy Jones who voiced Captain Rattlesnake Jake, a rattlesnake with a machine gun in its tail. Story:

Rango is about a chameleon named Lars (Johnny Depp) who was thrown from the car owner when run over an armadillo (a type of anteater) named Roadkill, on the highway near Las Vegas. Thirst due to stranded in the Mojave desert is dry, Lars told by Roadkill (Alfred Molina) to go find a drink to town Dirt. On the way, Lars met with Beans (Isla Fisher) an iguana desert. Beans are also the only city dwellers who still retain their land Dirt not to be sold. Apparently, almost the entire population of the city Dirt had sold their land to the mayor Tortoise John (Ned Beatty).

When entered into a bar full of townspeople who "creepy", Lars pretending to be Rango, a cowboy figure from the West with a reputation to have killed seven siblings with only a bullet. Rango began Dirt favored by city dwellers, and even appointed as sheriff after he saved the city from attack eagle by accident, again just by a bullet.

Dirt City itself is located in the Wild West with a population that has a variety of characters and led by a manipulative and corrupt rulers. Dirt City experience water shortages. But it turns out the water problem is caused by greed and evil of the ruler.
From here the story Rango kept rolling, he had to fight with the townspeople Dirt to uphold truth and justice. In this struggle, he must face various enemies to gain the trust of the women he likes.
