The Green Hornet is a story of a legendary hero created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker. Starting from a Detroit radio play, the United States in 1936, developed into a popular franchise that spread from movie theaters in the 1940s, the 1960s television series to comics in the 1940s. The Green Hornet old version of the most famous is the TV series that diperanin Van Williams and Bruce Lee, all totaling 26 episodes.

There's not much he could do except make the best with mediocre material by optimizing the visual. But not much he could do with the story and the characters are actually a hindrance for him.
The Green Hornet is an action comedy that is too "cartoon" to be enjoyed more serious. For some people might be entertaining but for others just like the movie hero who was just passing just plain and easily forgotten.
Story:
Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the son of a media tycoon who daily spree with many women. But everything changed after his father was found dead. Britt has a bad relationship with his father in his lifetime suddenly entrusted with the responsibility to lead the big media companies, "The Daily Sentinel".
Then Britt reid accidentally met with Kato (Jay Chou), and because the idea isengnya they both involved an incident that ultimately created the character the Green Hornet. Britt is obsessed with the story of action hero defender of truth is then asked Kato to continue such action. In each action, namely the Green hornet Britt who could not fight often get help from Kato.
Green Hornet did not like the hero character in general. He was often in action for good cause, but in almost every action the Green Hornet is also always leave 'mischief' which makes not only upsetting criminals in the city of LA, Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz), but also disturbing the district attorney Scanlon (David Harbour).
Until one day, the dispute between the two ensued, and which lead to internal conflicts within their friendships are of interest both to the new secretary Britt (Cameron Diaz) and plus they have to face Chudnofsky, leader of the gang in the city.

Rango - Story of Cowboy Chameleon
Rango is an animated film that mixes animation genre has a strong western adventure. By using big stars like Johnny Depp and Alfred Molina, director Gore Verbinski tells the epic Hollywood cliche, but still entertaining.

For animation work, Verbinski handed everything over to Industrial Light & Magic, who are experts in matters of CGI. Rango prove that there is still room for other than Pixar or DreamWorks studio capable of making CGI animated proven to watch children and adults.
Many scenes in this film that takes the background like a cowboy era American landscape complete with sky lembayungnya and Monument Valley, where the usual cowboy spurred his horses in the film. Skyline - Movie Review
Skyline directed by Greg and Colin Strause (known as Brothers Strause) and starring Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson, Brittany Daniel. For the Brothers Strause itself is actually not a new name in the world of special effects Hollywood films. Their names are recorded have played a role in producing special effects for the series The X-Files (1995), The Nutty Professor (1996), Volcano (1997) and Titanic (1997).
They also have my own production company named Hydraulx Filmz who also participated in the manufacture of special effects in the movie The Day After Tomorrow (2004), 300 (2007), Avatar (2009) until the film to be released in 2011, Battle: Los Angeles - which Sony Pictures making furious after learning that the Strause Brothers were produced and released the Skyline with a similar storyline.
Actually Skyline categorized in terms of story movie which is quite disappointing for me. Although Skyline did not provide a challenging and new stories, but for its special effects simply provide entertainment. No wonder that this film uses a 10 million dollar budget but was not comparable with the outcome. So do not be surprised when I heard the disappointment of fellow film fans who have watched sciene fiction Skyline. It is not worth to watch, but do not expect to get a memorable movie experience.

The story began when Jarrod (Eric Balfour) and his girlfriend Elaine (Scottie Thompson) came to Los Angeles to attend a friend's birthday party, Terry (Donald Faison). After the party they do, the next morning a strange light over to Terry's apartment. Light blue is able to attract the attention of anyone who looked at him to follow the direction of the beam. Blinding light and be able to lift those who challenged him into the air and disappeared without a trace.
Jarrod who had stared at the light was nearly carried away if not immediately helped by Terry. Jarrod oddity in the entire body immediately after the incident arose. One by one the residents of Los Angeles is inhaled by the light which was derived from an aircraft carrier's huge unidentified creatures. The carrier also issued a fighter and a strange creature in charge of kidnap victims one by one.
The purpose of aliens turned out to take the human brain for their food. Can Jarrod and his friends to find a way to fight this invasion of aliens?
Skyline ending in this movie is one less thing I love. Strause Brothers might want to create a different ending as the movie District will but the results turned out to differ greatly between the second film. If curious about the ending you can find and watch this movie.

The Fighter pity to miss thanks to the brilliant acting of the players. Ranging from Christian Bale who was willing to lose weight to 30 pounds (over 13.5 kg) made a successful Bale plays Dicky, brother of Micky, who are addicted to drugs.

District 9 - Treatment of Human Racist Against Alien
District 9 actually includes an old film for release in August 2009. Interesting because the Distric 9 has the theme of a story that could be considered original and not in the movies before. Most Hollywood movies about aliens theme is "Alien Earth destroyer" or "Aliens are friendly with humans", while the depiction of aliens in the District 9 just does not lead to the second theme of the above but instead portrayed as a refugee from outer space who are homeless, hungry , and malnutrition, and still behave wildly.
District 9 movie was directed by Neill Blomkamp with podusernya Peter Jackson. You could say making this movie because the director and gambling are relatively well-known stars as well as budget movie that is only in the range figure of 30 million USD, is usually a recipe movie failed. However, precisely District 9 well before its release has been getting rave reviews from critics and public attention since the publication of a mass at San Diego Comic Convention. And the result was a tremendous success for this underdog film.
Story:
Starting from a mysterious alien aircraft stops in the city of Johannesburg, the whole world was astonished. The shock turned into curiosity when the plane of the aliens are kept closed and no reaction from the aliens to human contact. When the government decided to forcibly open the plane they found that most of the aliens, later named the unorganized and not neglected. At the urging of the parties that promote the human rights of aliens are then removed and placed in a district in Johannesburg. It was not long before the district became the slums and was named District 9.
Fear and ignorance of the strange behavior of the aliens makes people despise and antipathy, to turn into the racist treatment until the term "Prawn" for such aliens. Sucker Punch - Movie Review
When we see the trailer from Sucker Punch some time ago, then most definitely want to watch this movie. This is because its special effects are indeed extraordinary. Sucker Punch itself is directed by Zack Snyder previously known through the Dawn of the Dead (2004), 300 (2007), Watchmen (2009), Legend of the Guardians (2010). For Zack Snyder might Sucker Punch might feel more special because this is his first original movie adaptation which is not like previous movie.
For the players Snyder recruited several well-known star whose face is familiar in Hollywood. They are Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events), Abbie Cornish (Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole), Jena Malone (Into the Wild), Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) and actress Carla Gugino senior (Watchmen).
Snyder along with Steve Shibuya began developing the script from 2002 to 2007, while for the shooting takes about 142 days from 10 September 2009 to complete production in 2010. That means Snyder along with 75 other visual effects expert takes the process a total of 8 years for the project Sucker Punch.
Sucker Punch is the excess of action and special effects are cool and admirable, but Sucker Punch has a shortage on the story and acting of the players, so do not expect to get more than grammar of cinematography, visual effects, fight choreography, musical background is very out plain cool.
